The whole year 2024 at the NOW BRUSSELS hotel! The exhibition of my “Silhouettes” series, presented on the 4th floor, offers visitors a unique artistic immersion.
The 27 paintings displayed in the bedrooms and hallway create a captivating atmosphere, exploring the contours and shadows of human bodies through my artistic vision. This year-long exhibition provides an ongoing experience for art lovers staying at the hotel.
The imaginary silhouettes of the paintings give life to an intriguing visual dialogue and invite reflection. Why are we here on earth? What mark do we leave on the lives of others and on society as a whole? What memories do we leave behind for those who came into contact with us?
Composed of real human silhouettes and imaginary lines, this series offers a unique exploration of the elements of the human body. Color combinations, particularly deep blue and turquoise with touches of bronze and gold, add a captivating visual dimension. This technique results in abstract portraits, offering an intriguing artistic interpretation of the human form. My creative process allows me to convey the emotions I wish to convey.
All paintings are on sale, either on site at the hotel (guests can buy and take away a painting during their stay), or at the hotel.
