A reflection on the profound resilience of nature, which always finds its way, survives and thrives by constantly adapting, even as it bears the full brunt of human constraints and the ravages of construction and pollution. A strong contrast is created between the roots, leaves, trees and organic forms of the plant world and the straight, rigid and sterile forms of human society. Nature evolves and survives. For me, this canvas evokes the tree that resists the acid rain and pollution that confine it to a difficult environment. Still there, the tree is mutant, its colors supernatural.
